Suzanne Nora Johnson

#OverIt moment: Johnson is an extremely accomplished attorney and leader, holding numerous positions on boards of large corporations along with serving many non-profits as a board member. She was considered by Forbes to be one of the most powerful women in the world.

Suzanne Nora Johnson was born on June 14, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois. Johnson graduated from USC in 1979 with a Bachelor of Arts in interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis in economics, philosophy/religion and political science before going on to Harvard Law where she received her JD. She is both a corporate lawyer and an executive, best known for her previous role as Vice Chairman of Goldman Sachs. Johnson currently serves on the boards of Visa, AIG, Intuit and Pfizer. In addition, she is on the board at USC, the Broad Foundation and the Carnegie Institute for Science. In 2006, she was ranked #34 on Forbes’ “The World’s 100 Most Powerful Women” list. Johnson is currently working with USC on its presidential search committee to try to find the next president to represent the university.
